Developing Biblical Education: Two Schools, Dozens of Students, and New Opportunities for Ministry

The Volunteers of Peace team continues to support the development of spiritual education and discipleship. In 2026, two Bible schools were opened, which have already become important venues for Scripture study, fellowship, and spiritual growth.

The First Bible School

In early January 2026, the first Bible school opened at the Juma Center. Classes are held in a spacious space twice a week—Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Each school day includes two lessons and a short tea break, during which participants can ask questions, discuss topics covered, and connect with each other. Between 25 and 30 people regularly attend the school.
The curriculum is divided into blocks of nine lessons. A test is administered after each block to assess the material learned. On testing day, special attention is paid to prayer support: individual prayer and the laying on of hands are offered for each student.

All testing materials are prepared in Arabic. For participants who cannot read or write, team leaders provide the necessary assistance: they read questions individually and help record their answers.
Second Bible School
In April 2026, the second Bible School opened. A Sudanese Christian congregation provides the space for it.
Classes are held every Thursday from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Meetings begin with worship in Sudanese and a communal prayer, followed by two study sessions. A 15-minute break for fellowship and rest is provided between classes.

Currently, over 35 students attend the school. The active participation of men and ministers from other churches, who strive to deepen their knowledge and strengthen their faith, is particularly encouraging. Students recently successfully completed the first block of nine lessons. Team Ministry
The leadership team is actively involved in the work of both schools. Volunteers assist with organizing classes, providing technical support, leading prayer and worship, assisting with the translation of materials, and supporting students during testing.
Particular attention is given to those who struggle with reading and writing. Thanks to the team's support, every participant has the opportunity to fully study and complete the program, regardless of their level.
