A story from our center in Ethiopia

When I first saw Tariku, he was dragging a huge white sack and trying to cross the road in the chaotic traffic of Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. For some reason, this boy immediately stuck in my memory. Tariku had lived on the streets for 7 years, collecting trash and earning $0.20 a day for his work. Our volunteers brought him to the center, where he has been living for the second month now and is getting an education. His life has changed dramatically.

There are about 150 million street children in the world today. Every day for them is a struggle for survival; they are often subjected to exploitation and violence.

We can change the world together!
