State Duma Deputy of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kuznetsov Visited Mozhaysk Educational Colony and Correctional Colony No. 5 of the Main Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service for the Moscow Region
Ahead of the New Year holidays, State Duma Deputy Dmitry Kuznetsov, together with volunteers and members of the Public Monitoring Commission of the Moscow Region, visited the Mozhaysk Educational Colony and Correctional Colony No. 5.
Accompanied by Alexander Vetrov, Head of the Main Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service for the Moscow Region, and Olga Gorshkova, Acting Head of the Educational Colony, the parliamentarian met with the female residents of the institution. Together with volunteers, they participated in a workshop on making holiday garlands and presented New Year's gifts to the teenagers.
During the meeting, the volunteers shared with the residents the history, meaning, and traditions of the Christmas holiday. They also conducted a training session called “A Letter to Myself in the Future,” allowing the girls to articulate positive life goals for themselves.
In addition, Dmitry Kuznetsov congratulated the women serving sentences in Correctional Colony No. 5 on the upcoming holidays and presented the institution with a television.
